In Sturgeon Bays’ shopping district, you will find many unique shops – one of them is The Dancing Bear right on 3rd Avenue.

When you walk in, you are surrounded by hundreds of items, which run the gamut from children’s toys and books to home accents. We spent some time with the store manager, Michelle Bolz, who gave us the tour!

They carry major lines, like Hadley Pottery, which is hand-glazed, decorative stoneware, and hundreds of children’s items, like books (like American Girl books), puzzles, Playmobil, Brio and other cool toys! In addition, there are dozens of bears – all from the top line manufacturers like North American Bear, Muffy VanderBear, Gund, Ty and Steiff.

For the home, there are unique Victorian-style lamps, throw-blankets, wind-chimes, and a wholte lot more.

For you, you’ll find Hood Art Works Jewelry, pins, earrings, semi-precious stones collections for jewelry-making, body lotions of all sorts by Essential Oil Products, soaps, and greeting cards, like the Sandy Pierce line!
