Harbor House Inn
Harbor House Inn is a wonderful retreat tucked away on the north end of the peninsula in Gills Rock, right across from the waters of Green Bay!
Gills Rock is a quiet fishing village just a couple blocks from the passenger ferry to Washington Island and within walking distance to a restaurant, shopping and Charlie’s Smokehouse. Just a short drive will take you to the car ferry dock or to Bea’s Ho-made Products, the best pies, jams and jellies in Door County!
We took a tour of this Harbor House Inn, a Victorian-style inn, and were impressed with the attention to detail and variety of amenities available at this inn. There is a very cozy Great Room with a fireplace where guests are always welcome.
You can enjoy a board game or watch a movie on the big-screen TV. Relax outside in the gazebo or on one of the decks overlooking the Green Bay waters and fishing harbor. You can even watch a beautiful Gills Rock sunset from your own private deck!
The Original Home
The original home, built in 1904, now offers Victorian-style rooms. Please check their new website for details about the rooms, and what is available.
Harbor House has a great Lighthouse Suite, and a Troll House Cottage to rent as well. Very cool.
Harbor House Inn offers private baths, air-conditioning, gas grills, Flat Screen TV’s and DirecTV in all rooms. Children and pets are welcome in some rooms for a small, additional fee. The Inn is open Memorial Day thru October.
