CENTER STAGE – WASHINGTON ISLAND
Dates of event: 1/3/10 - 5/2/10
Island Players will present its tenth season of “Center Stage,” an informal monthly afternoon of play readings performed at the Recreation Center. In January, “Center Stage” will sponsor a retrospective of Island Players’ 25 years of serving the community. As part of the program, former Board members will be honored and invited to share stories from past years. 2- 4 PM on the first Sunday of each month. http://www.islandplayers.org

MIDWEST PRINTMAKERS GROUP INVITATIONAL EXHIBIT – STURGEON BAY

READING THE RIDGES’ – ART SHOW AT THE LINK GALLERY - FISH CREEK
Dates of Event: 3/1/10 – 4/12/10
Works from Door County artists tell the story of The Ridges Sanctuary in paint, clay, fiber, wood, and metal. All works are reflective of or inspired by the natural areas of the ridges and swales of The Ridges Sanctuary or the old growth forest of Logan Creek. For info call 920-839-2802.

COMEDY CLUB AT THE LANDMARK RESORT – EGG HARBOR

36TH ANNUAL SALON OF ART – STURGEON BAY

FOLK CONCERT SERIES AT THE WHITE GULL INN - FISH CREEK
Date of event: 4/28/10
Singer-songwriter Jeff Black is a burly, bare-knuckled, blue-collar son of the Missouri plains with dark Irish blood who digs into tough topics with a gentle heart. There’s nothing predictable about a Jeff Black lyric other than it will be sung robustly and it will head towards hope instead of dwell on despair. Optional Pre-concert Dinner served at 6 PM. Menu: Chicken Marsala with shitake mushrooms, green onions, and linguine, garlic herb Focaccia, spring greens salad, rhubarb torte for dessert. $18.95 Concert begins at 8 PM. DOOR COUNTY TROLLEY PROGRESSIVE DINNER OUTING

Trolley guests will experience unique stops for hors d’oeuvres/cocktails at a surprise location, an elegant dinner at The Inn at Kristofer’s, and a decadent dessert at a romantic inn.
