Food/Dining : Bars: Egg Harbor

Grant’s Old Stage Station
7778 Egg Harbor Rd
Egg Harbor
920-868-3247
W, B/L/D

On one side is the restaurant (see our restaurant review) and on the other is the bar! A large horseshoe bar dominates the place as you walk in, with a couple of TVs that usually have some sporting event showing, and a few video games. There is a huge selection of beers to choose from, about 150 according to Rick, which we think is the largest selection in Door County! The bar is friendly and comfortable, and you can sit there, eat a pizza, have a drink and chat with the locals and others.

In the summer, check out the outdoor yard area - which is Gilligan-Islandy - a few rough wood tables and trellises, bar and more. You can get a beer, enjoy the stars, and truly relax. This part opened in 2002, and we hope they have this every year - it is a nice, cozy spot to be!

On the way in to Grant's, you can usually pick up the local free Resorter Reporter, or Peninsula Pulse to check out what' shappening in the County while you are there.

Check it out – especially if you are waiting for a table (inside or outside) – then it’s a must! Stop on by when you are in Egg Harbor or passing through for a genuine Door County establishment - the legend has it, this place used to be a stagecoach stop! So stop your stagecoach at Grant's Olde Stage Station and park yourself awhile!
