Located on Highway E and A, (take a right at the Trio on E and go until the stop sign at A - this is really Baileys Harbor, but it's so close to Egg Harbor we listed it here too) this is a place little kids might like for lunch. You can get sandwiches, burgers, etc. here. I've had bbq beef, which was ok. Sit at the counter, which is constructed of old wooden doors. Order your food from a server, and wait. When you hear a train whistle, you know your food is about to be delivered - by train! The kids think this is pretty cool - adults are amused as well, and the theme is carried throughout this little out of the way place, with station signs all around the place of every town in Door County! The chef and owner is wearing a train engineer uniform. It's fun. The food is OK, but it's worth a stop at this station sometime for the atmosphere and creativity that went into this place - bring the kids! It's easy to miss, so look for the building right on the SE corner of E and A (behind a grocery store).
