Tucked away in an unassuming little mall of shops in Sister Bay is a small restaurant serving up Chinese/Szechuan/Thai cuisine and a Mongolian buffet.

Our first trip to this restaurant was a pleasant surprise, as we walked in and found the place extremely cozy, with dark red walls a couple of round tables with bamboo poled umbrellas which sported Chinese lanterns on their inside web, comfortable booths and an overall great décor. Small, but friendly and inviting.

So we ordered our lunch. The Chicken Chow Mein was steaming, plentiful and delicious. I ordered the lunch special, a 1-trip buffet that included an egg roll, soup, and a trip to the buffet where you can load up a large bowl with shrimp, pork, beef, chicken chunks, pea pods, water chestnuts, carrots, sprouts, noodles, celery, green pepper slices, and a whole lot more. Then, once you have engineered your bowl with goodies, you can add sauces to them, like oyster sauce, garlic water, and about 8 other sauces. There is a poster with suggested “recipes” that help you combine the sauces into a flavorful combination. Then hand it over to the chef and he’ll cook it all up for you and your wait person will bring it to your table when ready.

This lunch special was special – it was delicious, every bit of it. The bowl was steaming hot, and the food, wonderful. The combination of flavors worked out great!

We’d highly recommend stopping in this out-of-the-way place to enjoy a quality meal at reasonable prices. Opened for lunch and dinner.
