Step into the 1950's at Perry's Cherry Diner! We met with Perry when he was whipping up the new menu for the season and had a cherry-coke while we chatted at the diner counter! Walk in and feel like you stepped back a bit in time - with an old - fashioned feel to the place, you will enjoy the checkered-table cloths, the diner counter, the neon lights and. . .oh, yeah - the food! This year, Perry has added his "Cherry Perks" espresso bar - so now you can get some gourmet coffee too (is this a throw-back to the beatniks?!) The "Cherry Perks" menu includes "cool" treats like Cocoamocha Crush - frozen cappuccino with chocolate blended in to a genuine frosty treat! There's a Strawberry, a Raspberry, of course a Cherry Crush too! A Cherryccino Crush you ask? Yes! Of course - Door County cherries and cappuccino mixed and blended! Into smoothees instead? You can get them at Perry's - Strawberry, Raspberry, Mango, Cherry. . . .ahhhh! And. Naturally, you can get lattes, mocha chillers, and a whole lot more.

This is a family-friendly place, where you can kick back and relax. Perry's Cherry Diner has won awards several times in the "Best of Wisconsin" diners and restaurants. You can get real diner food, like hot meatloaf served with mashed potatoes and gravy, _ pound hamburgers (in many varieties and choices of toppings), cheeseburgers, and creative sandwiches like Jamaican Baggy Beef - marinated aged beef, tomato, onion and cheddar stuffed into a soft pita! And there are salads - chicken fajita, beef taco, Greek, a small side salad and more. BBQ pork sandwiches, steak, chicken or lake perch platters! Sandwiches, wraps, platters, pizzas, pasta, salads; chili, fries, slaw, soups, veggies - what more can you ask! There is something for everyone at Perry's!

We had a whole bunch of stuff at Perry's over several visits, and always enjoyed what we had, and enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Kids like it too!

And try the handmade, old-fashioned 1950's malts - they are super-duper and richer than Bill Gates! This is a very cool place in Door County! Perry's Cherry Diner even donates a percentage of each sale to MADD, according to Perry. Nice thing to do.

Perry's is open morning, noon and night! Check with them on the hours, but they open early in the morning, and are open most nights until 9PM (Sunday's only until 3PM).
