WHITE BIRCH INN (920-743-3295) is located close to Hwy 42 south of the "new bridge" on Oxford Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. It offers by far the best value in Sunday Brunch ($8.95), and some classy dishes as well. The White Birch Inn is one of those places you always go past but seldom stop at. It has been there for years and although without the Glidden view (see our review of Donny’s Glidden Lodge) is very pleasing and clean. When you walk in Todd, the owner since 1999, will surely greet you; Todd knows lots of locals who also frequent the place! Brunch or dinner...Todd will see to it that his staff is taking excellent care of you.

The "signature" of the White Birch Brunch is certainly their baked chicken, which has been a Sunday tradition for over sixty years now! A great salad bar, homemade soup, and a host of hot offerings are topped off by quite an as-sortment of homemade deserts. This place is a real treat for both service and great value. So – try it out when you are in Sturgeon Bay, or take a Sunday trip down!
