Places to Stay : Baileys Harbor

Beantown Campground
8398 County Road F
Baileys Harbor
920-839-1439

Only about a mile from Downtown Baileys Harbor, on the “fun side” of Door County as John Anderson, the owner likes to say, you can find a campground that has it all! Beantown Campground offers a great camping location with flat, grassy sites, a heated swimming pool, satellite TV, tent sites and even deluxe camping cabins.  And you can drive the county easily from here too.

Amenities also include a playground, 50 full hook-ups, 20, 30 and 50 amp service available, bathrooms with complimentary showers, laundry, firewood and large fire rings, picnic tables, a game room, camp store for odds and ends, and there’s even a party room available.

When we spoke with John Anderson, the owner, he told us that all sites are provided with electricity, water, a picnic table and a fire ring.  And he especially wanted to point out what is becoming very popular these days, the deluxe camping cabins.  As camping goes, these cabins are pretty cool!  They are available in one and two bedrooms, have a kitchen, bathrooms, electricity and water of course, a TV with a DVD player, and even heat and air conditioning.   Some are configured with a small loft, and the kitchen is loaded with appliances like a refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave and the all important coffee maker!

What a great option for some of the campers in your group, or maybe even you!
Here is an outside shot of one of the deluxe cabins, with grassy surround.

Pretty roomy and comfy for a great camping holiday!

John also told us that Beantown Campground is becoming the place for rallies (like RV and motor coach variety), groups and reunions of all sorts.  And you’ll find an internet lounge, complete with TV too.

You can also check with their website for any activities or events that might be happing, and check their current rates too.

So, if you are into camping, and want some options like tenting, RVing, or even spending your nights in a camping cabin, then Beantown Campground is waiting for you – on the “fun side” of Door County, yet close to the town and local activities.  And when you make your reservations, please tell John and the gang that DoorCountyNavigator.com sent you!
