You drive up a long road to approach this beautiful 5 bedroom, full log home, in a secluded part of Fish Creek.  Sitting on 3.5 acres of fields and woods, this home is ideal for large families - this home is first-class all the way!

The covered main entrance, with benches on each side of the walkway, is graced with a solid wood door with oval leaded glass.  Enter and step on the beautiful slate floor, with a stairway leading up and another leading down from the main floor.  To the left is the great room, with wooden dining table that can seat up to 8, peaked ceiling over the fieldstone fireplace area, with a comfortable couch, coordinating easy chairs with ottoman and an area rug makes this a cozy, well-appointed grouping.  Even logs are provided here for the word burning fireplace.

The maple hardwood floors throughout the main floor have radiant heat for winter warmth.  Some of the logs are decorative carved art pieces of a fish, or bear.

The kitchen is extremely functional, facing both the dining room and the fireplace.  A cozy eating nook is off to the side and seats 4.  Solid granite countertops surround the double-bowl stainless steel sink, providing an eating counter too.  Fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, coffeemaker, side-by-side brushed stainless steel fridge, and custom solid hickory cabinets.  Everything you need is here from pots and pans, utensils dishes and more.  Get ready, you can prepare gourmet meals here which is what this home deserves!

The honey-toned ceiling on the first floor is all pine wood and exposed full-log beams, adding charm and warmth to the sitting area.  Windows astride the fireplace look out to the fields in front and the road leading to the house.  A surround deck also overlooks the field, equipped with wrought iron tables and chairs.

The master bedroom is huge and fully carpeted, has a private bath with both shower and soaking tub, and a double-bowl scallop porcelain vanity.  There’s also an expansive walk-in closet.  The Queen bed is clothed in an Aztec style quilt and sports a unique 5 foot high basket-weave leather headboard.  This bedroom overlooks and has access to a rear deck, and looks out to the front entrance too.

Ahead on the main floor is a ½ bath and a laundry room.

Upstairs at the Lodge at Fish Creek

Upstairs, overlooking the seating area below, is the loft, offering a peaked ceiling lounging area with black leather sectional sofa, ceiling fan, slate and wood surround coffee table, TV, VCR, and cable.  A great place to relax, unwind, read or have a small gathering for a great conversation. 

The first bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and is large!  A queen bed (covered with an aquatic quilt) with pine built-in side tables with lamps, and tucked inside the dormer cut-out.  A four drawer dresser offers storage.  Double doors lead out to a private balcony.

A bathroom is in between the bedrooms down the hall has a slate floor, walk-in shower with frosted glass doors, granite vanity countertop and large cabinet which houses towels, also with granite top.

You’ll find a second upstairs room just down the hall, which can be a cozy little reading room, or an escape room for some quiet.  

Well further down the hall is a “bonus” room which has 2 queen beds (nestled in the dormers) and four futons. The room has a wet bar, nice for a glass of water. Doors lead out to a covered porch overlooking the carport. Great spot for a rainy day.

Lower Level

The Lodge at Fish Creek is meticulously crafted, and immense! Back downstairs to the main floor, we headed further downstairs to the lower level to check it out. Wow – what a party room - complete with an island and sitting area, another bathroom, microwave, fridge, sink and more. Pine waist coating walls, with paint above. Again, send the kids down to this party room for some fun. It has ceramic tile floors, and double doors leading out to a terrace – nice in spring and summer.

To the left of the staircase is a great game room, with couch, TV, dartboards and a play area.  Again, the kids can have a blast here!  Off this room is another bedroom, with unique queen bunk beds.  Carpeted and comfy.

And if that’s not enough down here, you will also find another carpeted bedroom with the queen bunk beds.  Wow!

This home is done up first class all the way, from the full huge logs that compose the walls and ceiling beams, to some slate floors and others of maple hardwood, to granite countertops, great furnishings and more, you will love the Lodge at Fish Creek. Complete with a 2 car garage, covered carport, and lots of outdoor space, this is a wonderful year-round home. This place is hand crafted and beautiful throughout!
