Sunrise Shyores Condominium in Door CountyLooking for a great place, right on the waters of Lake Michigan in Door County?    Well we found one for you – in fact, we found two for you!  This condominium unit is part of 4 in a building, and these owners have the two side-by-side upstairs units, and they even connect if you ware traveling with a larger group!  And all three owners who we met grew up on this beach, literally, in a home just behind this building.  We found the owners to be a delight, so are very comfortable that you will have a great stay here.  Read on!

This 1,200 square foot, 2 bedroom place overlooks the water in Jacksonport.  When we say overlooks the water, we mean you can walk outside and walk a few short yards to the beach.  The view from the great room is nothing short of fabulous – peer out to the sight and sounds of waves lapping the beach – how relaxing is that?  Wonderful!

Walk up and enter and to the right is the great room that combines living space, dining space and the kitchen.  Tasteful, elegant hickory-style Pergo(tm)  floors throughout. The galley-style kitchen, with Corian™ countertops offers a brushed stainless steel side-by-side fridge, gas range and double bowl sink.  The long countertop offers an eating counter, where 3 high back chairs with cushioned seats await you.

The dining area of the great room has a stylish solid wood square dining table and 6 chairs.  Double sliding glass doors lead out to a deck that overlooks Lake Michigan and your beach below.  Wow – this is a spectacular view, one of the best we have seen in Door County!

The seating area has a brushed blue fabric queen sleeper sofa and matching loveseat facing a corner fireplace (gas) with wood surround, and TV atop.  With lamps flanking the couch and ceiling fan above, this is a cozy grouping.  Cable TV, and cable for high speed internet access.

Bedroom one has a queen bed with floral bed cover, mahogany bed frame and matching side tale nightstand, lamp and ceiling fan.  Large double bi-fold doors open to a huge closet.

The master bedroom, sporting a queen bed with blue-toned quilt, is large, with a mahogany bed frame, matching nightstand, lamp, ceiling fan, 2 person whirlpool in one corner and private batch with double glass door shower, double bowl vanity and plenty of light.  Tiled floor, Corian™ countertop.  The bedroom has 2 large closets, so you will not want for storage space here!

There is a bathroom off the hall with shower and single vanity sink, and Corian™ countertop.  There is also a line cost, and a laundry room with stacked washer and dryer for convenience.  We always like to see laundry facilities in places like this – just in case you need to do some laundry while traveling.  It’s a great convenience.

As we said above, this unit is also connected up with Unit 4 through lockable doors.  So if you are traveling with a larger group, and all want to basically stay in the same place, you can do it here, and do it with style.

If you want to stay on the “quiet side”, want water views of the lake, check out Sunrise Shores – we think you will find this place a delight.  The views here are second to none.  The beauty of Lake Michigan is literally right in front of you.  Get up early and see a spectacular sunrise.  Relax at night to the sound of the waves, a glass of wine – all from the balcony that overlooks the beach and water.  How can you beat that?  So check out their website, and please tell Pete, Paul or Mary that DoorCountyNavigator.com sent you!
