ACME Beads - Sturgeon Bay
Acme beads is a great little bead store.  The owners are wonderful and their very friendly dog comes out to say hi to the customers. Lots of great literature and great beads, especially the beaker of beads, the owner mixes different beads that look great together and puts them in a test tube.  They are fantastic!!  - Bridget W.

The City Farmer - Ephraim
The City Farmer is by far the nicest shop in Door County. Located on Hwy 42 in Ephraim. My wife and I filled the car with stuff for our house before driving back to Lake Fores.. - J.C.

Candleworks of Door County - Carlsville
Beautiful candles and every fragrance I could imagine!! They make the candles right there and you can watch. Kids made their own with the help of the owner. Shop is very classy and friendly. Mom, Dad and the kids loved the experience and we will go back. - Sandy R.

Gage, Inc - Sister Bay
Gage is hands-down, bar-none, the nicest store in Door County. They have everything from glassware to furniture to stationary to candles (the same type of thing you see in a lot of stores) but somehow the stuff at Gage is always more elegnat, better quality, and a *lot* more chic. Every item is beautiful and well chosen, albeit sometimes a bit on the pricey side. Moreover, everything is thoughtfully and carefully laid out in an lovely building with great flowers. Definitely worth a look. -Kathy H.

"Beach People" and Art of Door County in Founder's Square at Fish Creek "Beach People" is owned by Stacy Bridenhagen (EDITOR's NOTE: Beach people moved to Ephraim!). A great, fun store for all sorts of unique, interesting items! A good place to take kids for a reasonably priced souvenir, funny books for dad to read while he's waiting for mom and daughter to check out all the jewelry, dishes and interestin items for your house! Great store! Then go next door to the Art of Door County, owned by Ephraim artist, Fred Bridenhagen. Great art and interesting conversation! - Theresa G.

This is one very cool place - J Jeffery is an artist, and if you like custom jewelry on the modern side, this is the place to go. We have purchased items in this shop, and were very satisfied. And the shop is intriguing ö lots of interesting, artsy things to look at. - Dan S.
