HANDS ON ART STUDIO ADULT NIGHTS – FISH CREEK
Dates of Event: Year-round
Adult night attracts a diverse crowd, 21 and older, for food, drink, and do-it-yourself art projects in the relaxed atmosphere of the "Art Farm."
6:30-10 PM. On select Friday nights throughout the year, Hands On Art Studio features live music during adult night for adults 21 and older. It is a 3 1/2 hour kids-free zone. All the studio spaces are open and ready for you to have a fun evening playing with art. The studio fee for the entire evening is $7 plus the cost of your art project. DOOR COUNTY FESTIVAL OF BLOSSOMS
Dates of event: Late April 2012 – Early June 2012
Door County Festival of Blossoms is a 5-week long celebration of blossoming beauty framed by more than 300 miles of scenic Lake Michigan shoreline.
Enjoy guided and self-guided tours among thousands of acres of blossoming cherry and apple orchards (beautiful!), wonderful flowers like daffodils and tulips, and countless wildflowers. KART RACING – STURGEON BAY
Dates of Event: April through September 2012
At Thunderhill Raceway - John Miles County Park, 812 North 14th Avenue, formerly The County Fairgrounds Park. Kart Racing is coming back to the Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay. Racing will be Wednesday nights. Gates open at 3 PM, racing starts at 6 PM. Practice on Sundays from 1 PM to 6 PM. DOOR COUNTY FIREBOAT CRUISES – STURGEON BAY
Dates of Event : May 25 through Early October
Cruise launches from the dock adjacent to the Door County Maritime Museum, 120 N. Madison Ave. Each narrated tour lasts 1-1/2 hours and cruises either through the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal or to Sherwood Point Lighthouse (weather permitting). DISCOVERY BIRD WALKS, RIDGES SANCTUARY – BAILEYS HARBOR

Bird enthusiasts of all abilities, ages, and interest explore the great birding 'hot spots' in the Baileys Harbor area. Meet at the Marshall cabin at The Ridges Sanctuary. GUIDED NATURE HIKES AT THE RIDGES SANCTUARY - BAILEYS HARBOR

Although the trails at The Ridges Sanctuary (8288 Hwy Q, Baileys Harbor) are open year 'round, during the Spring, Summer, & Fall, guided hikes with a naturalist are offered to help you discover some of the unique aspects of this non-profit nature preserve. 5th ANNUAL DOOR COUNTY HALF-MARATHON

In Peninsula State Park, race starts at 10AM on a paved surface within the Peninsula State Park. All finishers receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal as well as food and drink at the finish line. Awards will be presented to the top male and female runners, top male and female master runners and top three finisher in each age group. NICOLET BAY 5K FUN RUN/WALK

In Peninsula State Park, race begins at 10:30 AM, after the half-marathon start. Participants will follow the out and back course along the water on Shore Rd. going past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and Welcker's Point, finishing at the same finish line as the half marathon. Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5K. All finishers will receive a t-shirt and food and drink at the finish line. Awards for the top 3 male and female finishers, and door prizes will be given out. 19th ANNUAL BLOSSOM RUN – EGG HARBOR
