  • Dates of Event: Daily, May through October Cruise launches from the dock adjacent to the Door County Maritime Museum, 120N.Madison Ave. Each narrated tour lasts 1½ hours and cruises either through the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal or to Sherwood Point Lighthouse (weather permitting).   • Dates of Event: 7/14/18 – 7/15/18 The annual Door County Triathlon will take place at 8 AM at Murphy Park just 3 miles south of Egg Harbor. The triathlon offers two very distinct course options in both distance and degree of difficulty: on Saturday, the short “SPRINT” course (1/4 mi swim, 18 mi bike, 3.1 mi run) and on Sunday, the challenging long “HALF IRON” course (1.2 mi swim, 56 mi bike and 13.1 mi run).
