This place used to be the upscale Black Locust – so if you know where that was you know where Julie's is. She redid the interior very nicely, nice café curtains, colorful walls, and there are two kids booths along one of the interior walls near the windows – our daughter likes these little booths! We have eaten there for breakfasts and dinners, and the food has been good every time. The portions are on the small side in general, so if you are starving for a humongous meal, order up a couple of dishes! Julie is at the restaurant almost all the time, which is always a good sign. We have had some slow service once in a while, but that depends on the wait staff for the particular part of the season that you are here – this can change dramatically not only from season to season but within the season. There is a bakery attached to the restaurant and a motel too. We have enjoyed sweet roles and cookies from the bakery too. Parking could be a little tight because a lot of the spaces are reserved for the motel guests, but usually you will find one.

Julie's is a nice change of pace from the overcrowded breakfast and dinner places. So choose to go to Julie's to avoid some of the crowds, or if you are trying to go somewhere else and it's packed, go try Julie's. I think you'll agree the food is good, and Julie will usually ask you how everything was. So give it a try – we don't think you're taking a chance here unless your appetite is bigger than the portions you'll get
