This is a genuine find in Door County! You will love the ice cream and the food at Door County Ice Cream Factory! This is the BEST ice cream place in Door County! They make all their own flavors, like Door County Cherry, Death’s Door (a really chocolately chocolate) and about another 10 or 15 flavors! They are all made right here – the only ice cream place IN Door County that we know of that actually makes their own ice cream! They have malts, ice cream sodas, smoothies, sundaes, old-fashioned floats, banana splits, and of course, ice cream by the scoop or cup. This is awesome stuff - the kind of treats you dream about - and they are all right here!

For lunch or dinner, you will enjoy this place - and stay for the ice cream! The menu is diverse in this historic building, decorated with original photos of the area. From from home made soups, to inspired sandwiches and individual pizzas, you will find the food awesome! We dine here all the time, and always leave room for an ice cream treat. The pizzas are super, and the Southern BBQ chicken pizza is among our favorites. You can also get pizzas (in various sizes from personal to large) in a vegetarian version and about 3 or 4 other styles. The sandwiches, from clubs to roast beef, are all great - we have sampled quite a few. Soups, creative salads, chili and more - it's all here at Door County Ice Cream Factory. And, no tipping here because you get your own food when it is ready, so you can save 15 – 20%.
