Food/Dining : Sister Bay
Fred
and Fuzzys Bar and Grill
On the Waterfront
360 Little Sister Rd.
Sister Bay
920-854-6699
Wow
we are certain that not that many people know about this place
and we aim to let you know about it at least! This is an outdoor
paradise this bar and grill is an absolute must for lots of reasons:
the atmosphere (right on the water in Sister Bay), the food, and the friendly
staff.
Have a seat at Fred
and Fuzzys and you really get a feeling that you are in a scene
either from Gilligans Island or Fantasy Island the place
oozes with a tropical flavor its location, tucked away and
hidden from just about anything, is idyllic.

After a hard day of reviewing places in Door County, we took a breather
and wandered into Fred and Fuzzys for the first time. Well, we cant
stop working we liked it so much, we had to write up a review.
We had a late lunch here. The grills are all going outside, there is a
small wooden bar under a canopy tent, tables and chairs on the lawn right
near the glistening waters off of Sister Bay, and a terrific staff waiting
to help. We selected a couple of seats at the bar you can see our
two empty seats in the picture (we were busy working!). With Jimmy Buffet
music playing, the sun bright and shining, a cold Spotted Cow
beer in hand, we were ready for work.
One of our reviewers
had Freds Favorite, - a steak sandwich with bleu cheese
topping, and the other had the 3 Cheese Deluxe. The grilled
steak sandwich was juicy, bursting with flavor, tender and just darn delicious.
With a bleu cheese topping, it was an excellent marriage of flavors. The
3 Cheese Deluxe was loaded with provolone, cheddar and swiss
grilled up and served between 2 slices of thick Texas toast. Topped
off with fresh tomatoes and a little pesto, and this one was rated a 10.
So we had another
Spotted Cow (which is excellent by the way), and met with
Fred and Fuzzy, and told them how much we liked the place, the food, and
the staff we met. They were a delight, and you can tell that the character
of the place comes right from the heart theirs.
We also met with
Suzy who, along with Fuzzy, owns the Little Sister Resort (of which this
is a part). We will be doing a review of this resort very soon.
Other patrons there also were enjoying this getaway, and one commented
that the staff was gorgeous, friendly and nice.

With a full liquor bar, the smell of grilling done to perfection, the
views of the water, a boat dock where you can pull up and eat, seating
for almost 100 counting the 7 8 tables on the lawn and the 9 or
so in the bar area, this is one great find in Door County. The menu has
lots of choices from a Pebble Beach Burger to a Bay Fillet. Stop in
youll find something that you will like a whole lot. There are only
4 bar chairs, so get there early for that great experience.
Open 11 AM 9PM, May through late October.
Directions
Hard to find, but worth it, drive down Little Sister Road - if you are
heading north on Hwy 42, its when you are approaching Sister Bay,
and are heading down the steep hill. At the bottom of the hill is Bay
Ridge golf course on the left, and the road is Little Sister Rd. Turn
in there and follow it around follow the signs for Little Sister
Resort (this is part of it remember). Eventually, you will see a sign
for Fred and Fuzzys. Park the car, and walk down to this little
hideout paradise! And tell them you found them on DoorCountyNavigator.com!
